Job Description

As a Villa Host, your responsibilities will include:

Maximising guest satisfaction by providing highly personalised, efficient, and responsive service with meticulous attention to detailHands on experience in a luxury safari lodger or five-star establishment.Anticipating and exceeding guests' needs proactivelyTaking ownership and leadership of all assigned villasSupervising, directing, and assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of guest villasEnsuring the highest professional standards of service are consistently metConducting thorough villa inspections before guest arrivals and after departuresCoordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues promptlyWelcoming guests upon arrival and providing comprehensive villa orientationsArranging personalised in-villa experiences, such as private dining or spa treatmentsManaging guest requests and inquiries efficiently, serving as the primary point of contact during their stayCoordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service deliveryMaintaining accurate records of guest preferences and special requirementsHandling check-out procedures and gathering feedback on guest experiencesParticipating in regular training sessions to enhance service skills and product knowledgeContributing to the continuous improvement of villa host services and guest satisfaction initiatives

QualificationsExcellent communication skills, with a focus on active listening and clear articulationFluency in English; proficiency in additional languages highly advantageousMinimum 2 years of experience as a Butler/Villa Host, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort settingDemonstrated ability to provide exceptional, personalised guest serviceStrong interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanourProactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail and high standards of cleanlinessProficiency in luxury hospitality software systems and property management toolsFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong organisational skills and ability to multitask efficientlyKnowledge of fine dining, wine service, and international etiquettePhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg when necessaryValid food handling and safety certificationFirst aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
