The Geosciences and Reservoir package is key to the success of the GranMorgu greenfield project, with a total investment of 11 billion USD, involving the development of two fields, Sapakara and Krabdagu, with four reservoirs at water depths ranging from 100 to 1400 meters. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of geologists, geophysicists, and reservoir engineers, while also interacting with data and digital technology experts at headquarters. This role is primarily dedicated to supporting the Geosciences team during its transition from headquarters to Suriname, actively contributing to the deployment of new technologies within the subsidiary, and facilitating the integration of local staff into data management activities. Your involvement will be essential to ensure a smooth transition and effective adoption of best practices in data management.
As a Data Manager, your main missions will be to :
Manage geosciences data, Participate in data valorization and ensure data security, Contribute to the establishment of data governance within the subsidiary, Contribute to the deployment of the geosciences environment and the migration from headquarters to the subsidiary.

Produce deliverables such as a knowledge base for data management, Data Management Plan, SharePoint administration structure, testing reports, monthly data management reports (inventory, deduplication, archiving, capitalization)Contribute to data management activities and the deployment of digital solutions for geosciences within the subsidiary.Candidate Profile
Expected qualifications:
Technical skills:
Preferably, with little experience (0-2 years) in data managementPrevious experience in Oil & Gas Operations & Production (ex: TotalEnergies EP) would be an assetGood analytical skills Organization, clear and synthetic redaction, adaptabilityComputing skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and PowerBITree size of other data management toolsKnowledge of Python scripting or other no-code/low code automation tools for data management is welcomeLanguages:
