As a Cost Controller mainly dedicated to the refining stock valuation, your main activities will be as follows :


Participation in the preparation of the monthly economic result by BU/LBU (Local Business Unit) of TEPR ; 


Coordination of Refining activity & presentation of summary statements: Monitoring and accounting for crude oil purchases from the Antwerp Refinery Monitoring and accounting for finished product purchases for the Antwerp and Vlissingen Refineries Monitoring and accounting for logistics invoices for refining activity in Belgium (P8B) Monitoring the invoicing of petroleum product removals for TEPR Clearing GR/IR accounts and analyzing purchase variances Managing reminders/follow-ups for invoices within the scope Monitoring transfer flows between BUs of the RC branch Revaluation of POs (valuation of purchases at the best estimated price) Valuation of stocks at replacement cost, FIFO, and LIFO; calculation and analysis of PRC; calculation of stock reserve; monitoring floating stocks and "contango" operations Monitoring legal stocks (purchase/sale of tickets), paper operations, and currency position coverage Monitoring interfaces between P8B systems (supply chain/stock valuation in CR & FIFO) and O02 (LIFO stock valuation and financial and accounting statements) BFR analyses: quarterly analysis of customer/supplier/stock trends 


Monitoring intercompany reconciliations for product movements during quarterly closings ; Sending payment proposals (F110) for invoices within the scope to SGP/FIN/TCM for validation ;Assisting in the creation and maintenance of procedure files and description of operational tasks ; Coordination & proper maintenance of SOX files. Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

Business School master in finance / accounting / management control


 Technical skills:

Very good knowledge of accounting principles, oriented towards cost accounting and management controlTeam spiritOrganizational skills


 Computing skills:

Good knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Powerpoint).Use of SAP O02 & SAP P8B + SECOIA software so a knowledge of these tools are a plus

 

Languages:

English: level B2French: level C1/C2 Additional Information
