The Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) enables this transformation by building scalable platforms, capabilities, and experiences that serve global markets. With a strong focus on digitization, innovation, analytics, and experimentation, Enterprise Digital accelerates near-term business impact while driving long-term enterprise transformation.

Within Enterprise Digital, the Enterprise Digital Experimentation & Analytics (EDEA) organization partners closely with Product, Technology and Marketing teams to optimize digital journeys using data, experimentation, and advanced analytics.

Role Overview

The Vice President, US Acquisition Analytics and Transformation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving analytics strategy and execution across GCS and USCS experience analytics, CXO & Identity Analytics and Experimentation COE.

This role is accountable for delivering data-driven insights that improve customer experience, accelerate digital revenue growth, and inform enterprise decision-making. The VP will lead high-impact analytics, experimentation, and GenAI-enabled capabilities to optimize engagement, servicing effectiveness, and monetization across web, mobile app, and outbound digital channels.

The role requires strong people leadership, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise & Business Impact
•    Own and drive analytics outcomes aligned to experience analytics digital revenue growth, customer engagement, and servicing efficiency 
•    Partner with Product and Marketing leaders to identify monetization opportunities through improved journeys, personalization, and digital adoption.
•    Provide strategic analytics leadership support to key partners

Customer Experience & Experimentation
•    Lead analytics-driven optimization of end-to-end digital customer journeys using test-and-learn, experimentation, and causal measurement frameworks.
•    Establish best-in-class experimentation standards, ensuring learnings are scaled and embedded into product development and experience design.
•    Deliver executive-level readouts on major launches and experiments, translating results into insights, recommendations, and next actions.

Advanced Analytics & GenAI Enablement
•    Leverage GenAI and advanced analytics to unlock deeper customer insights, enhance personalization, accelerate insight generation, and improve operational efficiency.
•    Partner with Technology and Data teams to responsibly deploy AI-enabled analytics capabilities in alignment with governance, risk, and compliance standards.
•    Champion innovation in analytics approaches while ensuring rigor, explainability, and business relevance.

Measurement, KPIs & Data Strategy
•    Define, standardize, and evolve KPIs and success metrics to measure digital channel health, experience quality, and revenue impact.
•    Ensure strong analytical governance, data quality, and consistency across platforms, markets, and initiatives.
•    Integrate digital behavioral data with American Express closed-loop data to deliver holistic, actionable insights.

People Leadership & Collaboration
•    Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing analytics teams, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.
•    Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders across Enterprise Digital, Product, Technology, and Global Markets.
•    Influence outcomes through strong executive presence, storytelling, and data-driven recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
•    Postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
•    10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, with demonstrated leadership in digital analytics, experimentation, or advanced analytics.
•    Proven track record of leading in-house analytics teams and delivering measurable business and revenue impact at scale.
•    Strong experience with digital data ecosystems, experimentation platforms, and advanced analytics techniques; familiarity with GenAI applications in analytics strongly preferred.
•    Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen and ability to link analytics outcomes to business value.
•    Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.

Qualifications We Value

•    Background in personalization, digital product analytics, or customer experience optimization.

Salary Range: $176,750.00 to $282,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
