This is a Salaried position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Provider Contracting and Compensation is responsible for overseeing and managing the development, implementation, and optimization of contracting, compensation programs, benefits eligibility and structure, and performance incentives for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Accountable for management of scheduling services for designated shift-based physicians and Advance Practice Providers (APPs). Works closely with key stakeholders, including provider leadership, finance, and executive leadership, to ensure that compensation and benefits strategies align with organizational goals, industry standards, and legal/regulatory requirements. Leads the Provider Services Center of Excellence for OSF Healthcare. This executive-level position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of healthcare compensation practices, as well as the ability to collaborate across all regions and markets to enhance provider satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational performance. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, human resources, or related field. Experience: 5 years of experience in healthcare compensation, benefits, or human resources. 5 years of experience in a leadership role. In-depth experience working with compensation models, benefits strategies, and assessment and application of healthcare industry trends. Strong experience with provider related regulatory compliance (FMV, Stark Law, ACA) and healthcare reimbursement policies. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APP’s, administrative divisions, and executives. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions. Deep understanding of healthcare compensation strategies and trends, including provider performance metrics, incentive programs, and pay-for-performance models. Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations impacting compensation and benefits. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field. Licensure/ Certification: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other relevant certifications. Certified in Provider Compensation Valuation (CPCV) or similar certification.
