Job summary
As a Loan Operations Manager in the Customer Reference Data team, you will manage a team of customer reference data analysts to ensure that loan customer data is maintained timely and accurately. You will use your deep understanding of loan products and lending services to make impactful decisions affecting the loan operations broadly. Advanced conflict management skills will be crucial for resolving issues, while strategic planning abilities will guide the direction of the team.

Job responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders across WLS to review existing processes and implement thoughtful changeGovern the efficiency and quality of all reference data operations for all critical segments – direct customers and internal partiesLeverage expert strategic planning abilities to guide the direction of our customer reference data operations, aligning with the firm's long-term goalsEnsure appropriate documentation, controls, and testing are in place at all times, working alongside our controls manager as applicable

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related fieldsMinimum of 6 years experience in data analysis and syndicated lendingKnowledge of investment banking products, specifically loansStrong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis and resolve issues related to loan operationsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Self-starter and highly self-motivatedProven ability to work independently with minimal guidanceAbility to prioritize tasks and pivot in response to new developmentsKnowledge of loan servicing portals
