Join us! **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Responsible for Release and Deployment project delivery and Lifecycle Management activities. + Ensure project close-out practices including database updates, asset tracking, inventory systems, records retention, and the related systems, tools, and process updates. + Ensure technical planning and logistics occur to achieve target schedules and annual commitment to refresh and build new DMZs are met, while incurring zero impact to the network. + Analyze and understand a variety of existing and evolving business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams and provide best in class Firewall and IDS solutions that align to meet business and technology requirements. + Execute multiple technical project engagements. + Responsible for Release and Deployment project delivery and Lifecycle Management activities. + Operate quality assurance functions prior to each implementation to meet engineering standards and mitigate risks. + Proactively raise questions and concerns to the Design Engineering team to address them prior to change implementation. + Build and operate firewall platforms including Fortinet and Check Point for net-new deployments and support Lifecycle Management through hardware refreshes and software upgrades. + Assess and advise on solutions to improve processes using Bitbucket, JSON, YML, and GITHUB to improve accuracy and efficient configuration builds. + Develop and deliver perimeter solutions by designing and engineering new hardware systems for client applications across the enterprise DMZ and deploy security devices to mitigate risk and ensure lifecycle management. + Leverage expertise in network routing and switching, including routing protocols, multicast, and LAN protocols, to validate connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with peer resources. + Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. **REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related and + 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. + Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: + Build and operate firewall platforms including Fortinet and Check Point for net-new deployments and to support Lifecycle Management through hardware refreshes and software upgrades; + Assess and advise of solutions to improve processes using Bitbucket, JSON, YML, and GITHUB to improve accuracy and efficient configuration builds; + Develop and deliver perimeter solutions by designing and engineering new hardware systems for client applications across the enterprise DMZ and deploy security devices to mitigate risk and ensure lifecycle management; and, + Leverage expertise in network routing and switching, including routing protocols, multicast, and LAN protocols, to validate connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with peer resources.
