Under the direction of the Chief of Stores, the Vice President, General Manager is responsible for driving the selling process and profit through developing and managing effective Store Leadership. The VP drives an elevated selling and service culture that delivers results. The VP is responsible for developing and implementing strategy to ensure operational excellence and results that are aligned with the company goals. The VP supports and fosters the Company’s values to weave into the New York Flagship’s culture. This VP understands that the success of the organization is tied to the quality and performance of the stores and creates an inclusive store environment.

4 year degree, or equivalent experience, preferred15+ years related management experience in retailing or other fast paced service and selling environments, in positions of increasing responsibility and volumeHas the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with peopleWillingness to travel and fly to meetings, summits, client events as neededAs The Vice President, General Manager, You Will:
Oversees the selling process and provides direction and motivation to the store leadership team through regular in person visits and consistent communicationAccountable for driving top lines sales, increasing margins, controlling payroll expenses and increasing profitability to meet the company’s overall business objectivesBuild effective teams; create a sense of community when leading a team and empower others to own their workBuild morale and spirit in their team; share wins, successes and encourage open dialogue with the teamAccountable for devising strategies and plans to drive salesResponsible for monitoring the growth and progress of the NY FlagshipIn partnership with the Executive Committee, participate in creating the company's goals, vision, and missionEnsures operational excellence by holding the stores accountable for executing all Operational KPIs and metrics as directed by the NY Flagship Leadership Operations TeamActively develops and coaches the Assistant Vice Presidents (AVP) to achieve goals, develop their teams, and be ready to take on their next growth assignmentsLead and develop a diverse team of highly effective Senior Leaders that understand their role and are focused on achieving goalsProcatively identifies talent needs and provides succession plans to create a pool of future leadersAd hoc responsibilities as neededYour Life and Career at SFA:

The starting salary for this position is between $230,000 - $290,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards.
