Vice President/General Manager, XOS

The XOS Vice President / General Manager (VP/GM) will hold full commercial accountability for XOS global business, overseeing Strategy, Commercial Operations, R&D, Marketing, and cross-functional partnership with Finance and HR. This leader will drive the long-term transformation of the XOS portfolio, achieving results with accuracy, speed, and reliability for our customers. The leader will ensure that XOS upholds its commitment to advancing public safety and operational efficiency by providing high-precision elemental analysis solutions through innovative X-ray technology.

The VP/GM will lead the organization to deliver profitable growth, deepen customer value, and advance XOS’s strategic position in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial & Business Leadership

Provide strategic and organizational leadership which includes full responsibility for the team’s operations from booking and revenue to profit margin.Champion world-class sales management by embracing and evolving Veralto Sales Initiatives and Funnel Management Standard Work. Develop and elevate the sales organization and migrate towards value and solutions competencies.Maintain market and competitor intelligence, developing proactive strategies to maintain XOS competitiveness through Gemba field and customer visits.Evaluate market, customer, and partner needs to shape XOS product strategies and identify growth opportunities.Drive expansion initiatives to strengthen XOS’s global presence and competitive advantage.

Strategic Direction & Innovation

Develop short-, mid-, and long-term commercial and product strategies to advance XOS leadership in petroleum, energy, and manufacturing market segments.Foster cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Commercial teams to accelerate innovation and portfolio expansion.Collaborate with global product management and R&D to drive the development of new products based on market-validated, valuable problems.Champion global VOC initiatives to identify unmet needs across commercial, R&D, and manufacturing ecosystems.

Operational Excellence & Organizational Performance

Enhance organizational effectiveness through robust process optimization, talent development, and operational alignment.Build a culture of high performance, accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and strong associate engagement.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, brand standards and guidelines, and Veralto policies.

Financial Management

Hold full P&L responsibility for XOS global business.Partner closely with Finance leadership and Group President, Water Treatment leader to set, monitor, and refine annual goals for revenue, EBITDA, operational efficiency, and commercial growth.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience.Proven track record of delivering sustained profitable growth and portfolio expansion.5+ years of senior leadership experience in a global commercial, brand, or product-driven organization.Seasoned leader of at least >$25m revenues / 100+ associates, providing inspiration, coaching and mentorship.Experience managing multifunctional teams (commercial, marketing, R&D, product, digital, etc.) within a global context.Global mindset, a high level of strategic agility, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated abilities to drive innovation.Demonstrated ability to lead strategic transformation in a complex product environment.Strong customer orientation with expertise in translating VOC into actionable strategies.Skilled in managing complex portfolios and multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.Strong organizational development capability, talent planning, and ability to drive high engagement.Strong practitioner of VES/Lean principles.Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.Willingness to travel globally (approx. 30%).

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $220,000 - $275,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
