This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President and Head of the Point of Care (POC) Diagnostics business line. The Vice President Global Markets is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence for the company’s point-of-care diagnostics business across all global markets, excluding the United States. The role oversees approximately 280 full-time employees (FTEs) and holds full profit and loss (P&L) accountability for direct and indirect markets, encompassing sales, marketing, and service through business partner channels and distributors.
*The preferred location for this position is a major European hub (e.g., London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, or Paris) or India to facilitate strategic oversight of global operations. *
Your tasks and responsibilities:You develop and execute region and/or market relevant commercial strategies to achieve revenue targets, exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and grow market share for POC diagnostics across existing and new product portfolios in diverse settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, distribution channels, government accounts, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), excluding the U.S. market.You lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, culturally diverse global team, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and innovation to surpass business objectives while ensuring cultural sensitivity.You set and monitor sales targets for direct and indirect markets, optimizing performance through strategic partnerships with distributors and business channel partners, and implementing corrective actions as needed.You build and strengthen relationships with key customers, global distributors, and industry stakeholders to drive growth, secure strategic partnerships, and identify new market opportunities.#You analyze global market trends, customer needs, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to develop targeted commercial strategies and maintain market leadership.You design and implement region-specific commercial plans, ensuring effective resource allocation, channel management, and alignment with local market dynamics.You collaborate cross-functionally with upstream marketing, product development, regulatory affairs, and sales operations to ensure alignment, successful product launches, and compliance with international standards.You partner with Strategic Healthcare Solutions (SHS) teams, such as Key & Government Accounts and Enterprise Services, to enhance business opportunities and ensure partners meet contractual obligations.You drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across the global commercial organization.You deliver actionable insights through regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to executive leadership, in collaboration with Commercial Excellence teams.You lead quarterly business reviews with customer and partner stakeholders to evaluate performance, address challenges, and align on strategic priorities.

Your qualifications and experience:You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferredYou have a minimum of 15 years of progressive global sales leadership experience in the diagnostic, medical technology, or point of care industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targetsYou obtained successful sales leadership roles, particularly in the diagnostics or other relevant medical device segments.You understand sales processes, techniques, and methodologies, with documented success in consultative selling and complex sales cyclesYou have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate global teams to achieve results while maintaining cultural sensitivityYou are experienced in account management and collaboration with C-suite and key stakeholdersYou demonstrate exceptional conflict resolution skills, proactively addressing and removing obstacles to ensure organizational successYou are a strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute global marketing strategies, sales plans, identify new or emerging opportunities, and drive business growthYou are experienced in developing and maintaining an accurate sales funnel/pipeline and forecast in conjunction with finance and supply chain functional partners
