As a Vice President Data Owner Lead in the 1CXP team, you will be responsible for all data created, provisioned, or consumed in one or more business applications. You will serve as a subject matter expert to help define and classify data critical to your business area, supporting business objectives, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting functions. In this role, you will collaborate with key partners across products, processes, and analytics functions to identify, define, and classify the scope of data critical to your business area. You will document requirements for the content and quality of data and coordinate with technology and business partners to deliver these requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and quality throughout the data lifecycle. This role offers the chance to influence data-driven decision-making and support the firm’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Job ResponsibilitiesCreate plans to develop and deliver data for your business area to support business operations, strategic objectives, and advanced analyticsWork with key partners across products, processes, and analytics functions to identify, define, and classify the scope of data critical to your business areaServe as a subject matter expert with multiple stakeholders to drive a strong understanding of the data and its use in your business area and across lines of business and functionsDocument requirements for the content and quality of data for your business area, and coordinate with technology and business partners to deliver requirementsDevelop processes and procedures in the product management lifecycleIdentify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle in your business area, including risks related to data protection, retention and destruction, storage, use, and qualityPartner with technology and business resources to resolve identified data issues in a timely and consistent mannerManage direct or matrixed staff to execute data-related tasksRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor’s degree with six years of related experienceExpertise in data technologies such as data warehousing, data management and governance, data integration, big data, business intelligence, and machine learningUnderstanding of business products, processes, and associated dataExperience with risk and control requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong business acumen and strategic thinkingPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsMaster’s degreeUnderstanding and practical experience in big data engineering, analytics, machine learning, or public cloud related technologies and their applicationsKnowledge of query or analytical programming languagesExperience with Bitbucket and data management pipelinesExperience using agile delivery tools such as JIRA.
