Allied Universal® Facility Solutions is hiring a Vice President - Business Development. The Vice President, Sales - Facility Services will develop and direct the overall sales strategy, sales operations, tactics, and processes that will drive overall revenue growth. The Vice President, Sales will be expected to travel between 50-70% of their time. Preferably located near a major metropolitan area in the Eastern, Midwestern, or Central regions of the U.S
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Leadership and Strategy:
Lead, Inspire and manage the Eastern Regional Sales Team to exceed revenue, growth, and profitability goalsDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Allied Universal’s national objectivesTeam Development and Collaboration:
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on results, accountability, and client successCollaborate with Allied Universal divisions and cross-functional teams to cross-sell services, develop competitive proposals, and close high-value dealsStay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine regional sales strategy and drive innovationBusiness Development and Client Relationships:
Drive new business growth across enterprise and commercial sectors for janitorial and facility servicesBuild and maintain strong executive relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners to expand market shareOperational and Financial Management:
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure predictable performance and ROIManage sales expenses responsibly, ensuring efficiency and compliance with corporate policiesQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess one or more of the following:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study with aAssociate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study with a minimum of ten (10) years of sales experience and at least five (5) years in a managerial capacity, preferably in a service-related industryMinimum of eight (8) years of sales experienceMinimum of four (4) years of work experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in a service-related industryProven ability to deliver team success and growing sales; able to align multiple strategies and ideasStrategic thinking skills and aptitude for problem-solvingStrong oral and written interpersonal communication skills; able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and other senior management throughout the company, be attentive to executives’ needsReviewing time-frames and budgetsAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyConfident in producing and presenting workIn-depth understanding of the industryPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of studySales Experience in the Facility or Janitorial ServicesCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 (based on experience and location), eligible for a bonus opportunity of up to 40% of base salary, with escalators for exceeding goal achievementMedical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, retirement plan and disability insuranceEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
