Established in 1926, WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital has long served the residents of the Central Susquehanna Valley community with award-winning care. One of nine premier hospitals in the WellSpan Health System, WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital's 131-bed facility provides a community of 172,529 residents leading-edge inpatient, outpatient and emergent care services.
The Vice President and President, WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital oversees the effective operation of hospital services within the community served as well as the integration of service lines within. Leads the Hospital's senior management and serves the assigned subsidiary boards as appropriate. Participates in leading the integration, coordination, operation and development of the services which we sponsor for the benefit of the patient within the region the Hospital serves. Supports the Hospital in its oversight function and advises System leadership and planning of developments and trends within the acute care facilities region. Positions the Hospital in the region through strong community representation and leadership. Informs the governing body and the medical staff on the overall activities of the Hospital, as well as federal, state and local developments that affect healthcare in the Hospital.
