The VP, Sales (Americas) will embark on a journey of continuous learning, impactful projects, and unparalleled growth opportunities within this dynamic group as we pave the way for pioneering advancements in scientific and clinical solutions on a global scale.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations and will be located remotely, in the North American region.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Demonstrated success in Sales and General Management within the Life Sciences market.Profound financial acumen enabling support for budgetary and profitability objectives, coupled with strategic and operational proficiency.Comprehensive familiarity with the life sciences capital equipment, service, reagents and software sales process, spanning initial engagements with Senior Management to post-sales service and support.Proficiency in devising and executing effective go-to-market strategies than include both direct and indirect distribution channels.Consistent record of recruiting, nurturing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.Capacity to mentor and offer expert guidance to associates in the field.Familiarity with the Danaher Business System (DBS) growth toolkit would be a plus.The ideal candidate should hold an undergraduate Science degree (advanced degree preferred), accompanied by an advantageous MBA or other advanced business education.Travel, and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50%. Travel will primarily be focused in the Americas countries (United States, Canada, and Latin America); however, there may be opportunities for international travel as required.Must have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Must be able to legally work in the USA and/or Canada.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

The salary range for this role is between $280,000.00 and $305,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
