**Description** This position is responsible for setting the global strategy for store design and retail experience, leading the creation of integrated concepts for architecture, fixturing, visual merchandising, communication, and relevant technological solutions, specific to each brand. This role will develop the programs and processes to enable the brands and regions to enact industry leading store concepts, maximize consumer impact and commercial productivity, and provide a framework to adapt to various store formats and regional needs. Furthermore, this position is responsible for maintaining a global portfolio view across the company's store concepts, their cadence of evolution, and the relative identity each distinct brand's retail design. Key Activities: + Assess current retail concepts across all brands and regions for differentiated brand identity, industry⁃leading retail innovation, merchandising impact, adaptive commercial effectiveness, and cultural currency. + Create the global store redesign methodology and lead the retail innovation process from brief through concept creation, integrating brand creative and functional teams and external agencies as required to realize compelling concepts. + Maintain a global perspective on innovative retail design, guiding the cadence of concept evolution and retail reinvention across the ELC suite of brands. + Provide strategic leadership and global coordination on the functional areas of store design, fixture development, communication and visual merchandising. + Assess current capabilities landscape (talent, org, processes, external partnerships) across all brands and regions in the area of retail design and identify gaps vs established best practices. + Coach and support brands and regions/affiliates in the implementation of the recommended approach ("make it happen"). + Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the brands and regions to support the continued development of this critical capability. + Maintain a global perspective on the optimal agency partnerships and lead the alignment of agencies against individual brand projects. + Build all of the above within an omni⁃channel perspective to maintain long⁃term industry leading store concepts, with the midterm view of evolving current merchandising programs to augment the business. **Qualifications** + Minimum 10+ years of brand management and retail design experience + Experience with retail concept development, market adaptation strategies, prototyping and deployment + Strong strategic thinking and communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer It is Company's policy not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws and ordinances.
