About the RoleAttentive is seeking a Vice President, Product & Litigation to join Attentive’s established legal team and report to the Chief Legal Officer. You will manage a team of attorneys who advise the business on product, compliance, privacy and other litigation matters. You should have superb legal experience and pragmatic business judgment. You will work closely with our product, customer success, and engineering teams.What You'll AccomplishWork closely with internal business teams to identify, investigate, and manage legal risk across a wide range of product, engineering, marketing, content, and business initiativesEnsure our products are compliant with US and internal laws and regulations, including privacy laws and relevant industry rulesAdvise and support our internal stakeholders with respect to compliance issues that affect client campaignsHelp formulate legal policy and process across the organization as it matures and growsDevelop and maintain a set of internal policies, programs and resources with respect to complianceRemain knowledgeable on relevant industry laws and regulationsAct as first line of defense for any legal complaintsWork with outside counsel on any litigation mattersYour ExpertiseJuris Doctor degree and qualified to practice law in-house. At least 12 years of legal experience, preferably at or representing successful, high-growth venture-backed companies.Experience managing a team, coaching product attorneys and forging relationships with trailblazing product leaders.A strong “business-friendly” style that comes with an understanding that the Legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the businessInterest in assuming additional responsibilities as needed and as the organization growsExperience with TCPA and CTIA are a plus.You'll get competitive , from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
For US based applicants:- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $235,000 - $290,000 annually + equity + benefits- Equity is a substantial part of the total compensation package- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
