Purpose
The Vice President of Product & Innovation leads the development and execution of digital product strategies that enhance operational effectiveness, drive automation, and support new business opportunities. Reporting to the CIO/CISO, this role serves as a cross-functional technology leader responsible for identifying opportunities to improve how work gets done through innovation and emerging technologies. The VP collaborates with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful digital products, services, and automation platforms that increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and unlock new revenue streams. Additionally, the VP actively explores external customer and market needs to define and develop novel digital products and services that open new pathways for revenue growth and competitive differentiation.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
Report to the CIO/CISO and serve as a member of the senior IT leadership team.Provide visionary leadership over digital product management, innovation programs, and business automation strategies.Define the enterprise strategy for digital solutions and internal product development.Lead a team of product managers, solution architects, analysts, and technologists across multiple initiatives.Collaborate with executive leadership to align innovation efforts with strategic goals.At the Operational and Company Level
Serve as a trusted partner to business functions by identifying opportunities for technology-enabled transformation.Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.Develop governance processes for intake, prioritization, and lifecycle management of digital products and services.Communicate strategy, progress, and value delivery to executive stakeholders.
Do the Work
Oversee the development and deployment of digital products and services that streamline operations and reduce manual effort.Lead the expansion and governance of enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, AI/ML tools, workflow automation, and business intelligence systems.Foster citizen development by establishing guardrails, training, and support for business-led innovation.Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and sustainment.Monitor product performance, adoption, and business outcomes.Stay ahead of technology trends and evaluate emerging tools that could benefit the business.Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Business Systems teams to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated solutions.Success Metrics and Competencies

Qualifications
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in IT, product development, or innovation roles, with at least seven (7) years in a senior leadership capacity.Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Proven track record of leading digital product teams and innovation programs.Experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, or similar tools.Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and portfolio management.Experience launching customer- or employee-facing digital solutions.Certifications in product management, agile, or enterprise architecture preferred.
