As Vice President in Markets Asset Services, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a range of asset servicing functions, including Corporate Actions, Income Processing, Tax Services, and Proxy Voting. You will drive process optimization, risk management, and client service excellence, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and support business growth.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of asset servicing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementSet clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional growthOversee end-to-end management of asset servicing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirementsMonitor and enhance control frameworks, performing regular reconciliations and risk assessments across all asset servicing activitiesDrive process re-engineering and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalabilityChampion the adoption of new technologies and systems, managing implementation projects and change management effortsServe as the primary escalation point for complex queries and issues from internal and external stakeholders, including clients, agents, issuers, exchanges, and depositoriesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure effective resolution of inquiries and delivery of superior client serviceOversee the review and resolution of outstanding breaks and exceptions across asset servicing functionsEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, escalating issues as appropriateMonitor and report on key performance indicators, service delivery standards, and risk metrics

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree requiredSeries 99 Certification required, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframeExtensive experience in asset servicing, securities operations, or related financial services functionsProven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environmentStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and implement innovative solutionsExceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in Excel and other relevant technology platformsDemonstrated ability to prioritize workloads, manage critical deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and qualityClient-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering superior service and operational excellenceFluency in English
