Position Overview
The Vice President, Intel will report to the National Security Solutions (NSS) Senior Vice President and will serve as a member of the NSS Executive Leadership Team. You will lead a portfolio of ~$275M annually to ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions and services to a diverse customer set across the Intelligence Community. Our efforts span from enterprise architecture design and prototyping through validation, collection operations and support. Responsibilities also include all business operations including budgeting, execution and growth of this ~1000 person organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Leading complex portfolio of solutions to ensure successful delivery of contractual requirements with established objectives and which will enhance the operating effectiveness and efficiency of products and service.
+ Managing the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities. Monitoring performance to deliver forecast budget and growth requirements.
+ Collaborating with the Growth Organization to develop short and long-term strategies to meet strategic company objectives.
+ Developing strong customer relationships to enable KBR to be viewed as a thought leader providing cutting-edge solutions and services.
+ Leading a large team of operational directors and program managers with a focus on developing diverse future leaders.
+ Developing strong relationships with functional leaders to ensure collaboration throughout the organization.
We are seeking someone with strong business acumen, including a broad understanding of fundamental business principles and able to demonstrate excellent analytical problem-solving skills and an impeccable attention to detail. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills with a drive to collaboration and build a consensus in a high-performance environment. This skill should include the ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust throughout an organization.
This role will be located full-time in Chantilly, Virginia and will require both domestic and international travel, however a hybrid work schedule will be considered by exception.
Required Qualifications / Skills
+ Proven track record as a senior leader with a demonstrated understanding of people and operational management practices, including multi-team management experience.
+ Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, finance, or other related field [experience will be considered in lieu of degree].
+ Experience including operational delivery and management experience, as well as profit, margin, EBITDA and cash flow expertise.
+ Demonstrated project and budget management skills.
+ Experience setting overall strategy and driving demonstrable process improvement.
+ Demonstrated experience assessing business implications and potential of identified marketing, legislative, and financial trends in current and future operations.
+ Demonstrated success building high performing teams, ensuring exceptional talent acquisition, employee relations and team development.
+ Current Top Secret/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in leading and developing large, complex solutions for proposals with a winning track record.
