Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a VP of Institutional Portfolio Management to join one of Canada's largest Investment Companies. The chosen candidate works closely with the investment team to articulate our investment methodologies, competitive advantages, portfolio positioning, strategies, outlooks, and market insights for our portfolios. This individual will lead a team in developing and maintaining investment growth strategies to drive business and investment growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement strategies that support sales, quality of materials and/or product offerings. This individual will need to have very strong communication skills, as they will be required to present to both internal and external stakeholders on principles, processes, products, and portfolio positioning. They will also participate and/or lead client meetings which may include clients, investors, gatekeepers, and research analysts.

Skills and Requirements
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the asset management industry with extensive product knowledge.
• Extensive investment-related client-facing experience.
• Sufficient technical knowledge of financial markets and products to be able to establish credibility with the investment team and be able to represent it externally.
• Ability to provide actionable insight on the competitive landscape across strategies, distribution channels and product type.
• Ability to effectively manage the expectations of a diverse and demanding client base.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including defining scope of analytical solutions, resourcing with strict timelines and managing deliverables based on sometimes loosely defined business requirements.
• Strong presentation, writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate difficult portfolio concepts to diverse audiences with varying degrees of investment expertise and the ability to discern and adapt to that level of investment sophistication.
Sense of ownership and accountability is essential. • Ability to write and present in French is an asset.
CFA, CIM and CAIA designations are an asset.
