Vice President, Field Operations
**Position Overview** Vice President of Field Operations leads field-based operations experts to drive process changes in stores and support day-to-day operational execution. The team facilitates implementation of all operational initiatives affecting stores from merchandise processing to customer experience, and every element in between. Assignments range from run-the-business support for District and Region leaders to market turnarounds and new process training. The right individual will be a great problem solver, collaborator, people leader, and communicator with experience leading store operations and/or field teams at national scale retailers. Deep expertise in all store processes is a must along with effectiveness in training, coaching and influencing middle and senior level field leaders. **A Day In The Life** **Duties and Responsibilities:** + In partnership with Territory SVPs and Regional VPs, oversee quality of operational execution in stores and be the standard bearer for operational excellence. + Support and hold accountable field leaders for delivering KPI goals of all processes within the four walls of the store, ranging from scheduling and payroll budget to back-of-the-house receiving and customer experience. + Lead rollouts of new operational processes. Manage the team of SMEs as they train field leaders, coach them for improvement, and influence them to adopt new processes and hold stores accountable for executing on-process. + Partner with field leaders to plan and execute market turnarounds. + Train, coach, and performance manage teams within the function and mentor individuals in related functions. Establish internal processes to foster professional growth and capability development to create a high-performing organization. + Lead projects to evolve or create store processes in partnership with home office teams. + Engage closely with Field, HR, AP, Supply Chain, and other functions to deliver on objectives, garner support for programs, and coordinate cross-functional execution of initiatives in stores. **You'll Come With** **Education:** + B.A. or equivalent + MBA or other advanced degree preferred **Experience:** + >10 years of experience in retail + >10 years of experience in store operations or field at leadership level in national scale retail + Proven ability to drive change and results in stores at national scale retail + Demonstrated expertise in process implementation, training, and coaching + Demonstrated problem solving, organizational leadership, and exceptional communication skills + Experience in roles where results depend on influencing up, down and across **Skills and Abilities:** + Planning and project management + Process and detail orientation + People management + Cross-functional collaboration + Communication and influencing + Drive for results \#LP-AP1 **Come join our team.
