Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative, and passive portfolio management. As of September 30, 2025, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $500 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.

The Equity Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team acts as a critical link between TDAM’s equity portfolio management teams and the distribution channels that rely on timely insights, investment expertise, and market perspective. This role supports both quantitative equity strategies and the broader suite of fundamental equity capabilities, serving as a central source of product, market, and portfolio expertise.

As a member of the Equity Client Portfolio Management team, the CPM will act as an advocate for TDAM’s equity capabilities, with a primary focus on fundamental strategies, while also providing support across TDAM’s broader platform. The CPM will serve as a subject matter expert on TDAM’s investment philosophy, process, performance, and competitive positioning.

This role has significant client-facing responsibilities and will engage with clients across all institutional and advice channels, including TD Wealth Financial Planning, TD Wealth Private Investment Advice, and external dealers.

The successful candidate will communicate equity market insights, portfolio positioning, research views, and strategy characteristics to a range of institutional and retail audiences. The CPM will work closely with Portfolio Management, Distribution, Product, Marketing, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, and senior leadership to ensure consistent delivery of investment messaging across all channels.

Qualifications / Skills / ExperienceCFA designation plus a relevant undergraduate degree.10+ years’ experience in capital markets with strong exposure to equity strategies; direct experience with portfolio management or equity research preferred.Strong understanding of investment strategies and portfolio construction concepts.Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills.Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in interpreting performance, attribution, and risk analytics.High proficiency with analytical tools and market data platforms.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple concurrent projects.Self-starter with the ability to function with minimal supervision and work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Understanding of the needs across a broad range of client channels, including retail and institutional investors.Graduate degree and bilingual French–English are assets.
