Vice President, Chase Rewards Product Owner

Join our dynamic Rewards team as a Vice President Product Owner, where you'll have the opportunity to leverage your organization, communication and problem-solving skills, along with your agile and analytical mindset to enhance our Chase Rewards product. You'll be instrumental in delivering high impact customer loyalty initiatives, ensuring our products are exceeding customer and client expectations, and promoting the modernization of our platform. Your role will involve strategic planning and implementation of customer-centric Rewards journeys and collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote business results.
As a Vice President Product Owner in the Chase Rewards team, you will be responsible for supporting a critical product area within Chase Rewards. You will leverage your deep understanding of customer and stakeholder needs to make our products better, smarter, more stable, and more flexible. Your role will involve defining and supporting the tactical and strategic vision for the future path of a platform product as you build new and support existing Rewards journeys. You will leverage the Agile framework and ceremonies to plan, refine and implement these initiatives to promote value, impact, and time to market.

Job Responsibilities

Drive strategic and tactical product vision, and define and execute roadmap that balances foundational capability enhancements with platform modernization Maintain evergreen product roadmap based on changing market and customer needs that delivers incremental value across multiple releasesBecome a subject matter expert on the Rewards system capabilities and cross-impacting interfaces within your assigned product area Partner closely with Business, Technology, Architecture, and Data teams to lead product development efforts, ensuring epics and stories are clearly defined with acceptance criteria and delivered on time. Help drive completion of epics and remove blockers.Lead your stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve the best business value possible. Use collaborative storytelling to communicate and drive cross-functional alignment for your work.Communicate product needs, progress and business challenges to executive level Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

5+ years of product management, program management or relevant experienceProven track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast paced environments.Ability to synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct, and constantly iterate on your approachAbility to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners up and down the chain with the ability to influence and motivateProven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up teamExperience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) JIRA, and Confluence Tools.Bachelor’s degree required

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market is a plus
