The Franchise team shapes the payments ecosystem by establishing principles and foundational standards, onboarding new participants, enabling disputes processes, and ensuring the safety and integrity of our network….all while driving Innovative concepts. Franchise is committed to ensuring the continued growth of Mastercard and the long-term health of the payments ecosystem. As the Vice President for this program, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Mastercard Account Data Compromise Program. This includes developing and implementing strategies to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents and ADC Events, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the highest level of safety and security in the payment’s ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data security, risk management, and program management. They should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry. Additionally, they should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. Accountabilities Key responsibilities for this role include: Leading the Mastercard Account Data Compromise Program and ensuring its effective execution Developing and implementing comprehensive data safety and security strategies and policies Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders around the world to enhance data security measures Managing a global team of investigative and data security professionals and providing guidance and support Monitoring and analyzing trends and emerging threats Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on large scale fraud events Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Monitoring Customer performance and compliance with Mastercard standards We are looking for a candidate who is not only highly skilled but also passionate about making a difference to our promise of safety and security. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
