VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology departments.Compensation: $ 30 - 39/hr and is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour weekday shifts. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to lead with purpose, support pets and their people during challenging moments, and make a lasting impact.What You’ll Do:Lead and support a team of talented oncology technicians and assistants in both Medical and Radiation OncologyConduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide mentorship, set goals, and address staff concernsMonitor adherence to hospital policies and ensure consistent application of protocols and proceduresDeliver timely performance feedback, including coaching and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with the Hospital Manager and HRCoordinate and manage schedules to maintain smooth daily operations and ensure optimal patient care coverageFoster a positive, team-first culture that encourages learning, growth, and exceptional client serviceManage payroll and scheduling, per patient care needs and revenue guidelinesCollaborate closely with our board-certified oncologists and leadership to support seamless, compassionate cancer careWhat We’re Looking For:5 +years experience as a Veterinary TechnicianCertified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible to transfer state license (RVT, LVT)  Experience in Medical Oncology and/or Radiation Oncology Leadership experience – preferred (but if you're ready to grow into it, we’ll support you!)You’re a natural communicator, a proactive problem-solver, and passionate about specialty medicineYou bring empathy, structure, and resilience to every shiftWhy VCA Aurora Animal Hospital?At VCA Aurora, you’ll find a team that supports one another — and a hospital that invests in your growth.
