VCA Saukville Animal Hospital is currently hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our exceptionally skilled and fun team!

VCA Saukville Hospital has been serving  Saukville, WI, with compassionate veterinary care since 1956. We are an AAHA accredited hospital, with a commitment to providing individualized care that our patient’s deserve.   

 

We are a general practice offering Preventative/Routine medical care, diagnostic testing, surgical services, and dental services.

Compensation: The starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.  

Schedule:  Full-time with rotating Saturdays.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities): 

Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery 

Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs 

Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM 

Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics 

Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments 

Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care 

Maintain accurate patient medical records

  Requirements:

Certified Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT or recently graduated from a AVMA accredited Technician program.
