VCA Ark Animal Hospital is a well-established companion animal practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive, lifelong care—from first exams to senior wellness. We’re seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician who shares our commitment to excellence and compassionate care.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour shifts.
Compensation: $19 - 25 / hour. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
What You’ll Do:Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care through all life stages.Perform technical skills including anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, and dentistry.Support DVMs in diagnostic and treatment plans, including advanced procedures.Educate clients on preventative care and treatment options.Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.What We’re Looking For:Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible for licensure.Passion for patient advocacy, client education, and teamwork.Strong technical skills and willingness to learn and grow.About VCA Ark Animal Hospital:
VCA Ark has been part of the Avondale, Chicago community since 2003. Our hospital has been AAHA-certified since 2007 and practices low-stress and fear-free techniques. We offer routine services from wellness care to surgical and dental procedures. We also offer more advanced procedures such as an on-call surgeon for orthopedics and cold laser therapy.
