North Downs Specialists Referrals are recruitig for a receptionist to join their client care team. The role of receptionist is to welcome clients and manage all incoming telephone calls. Also liaise with all colleagues to ensure client queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.

Hours

This is an afternoon/evening position working 2pm-8pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 2pm-8pm on Thursday. No weekend work is required. This is a permanent position working 28 hours per week.

Tasks will include:

Meeting and greeting clientsLiaise with clients regarding appointment cancellations or postponementsMaking appointments for re-examsDealing with all telephone calls that come through to the reception lineEnsure telephone and email enquiries are forwarded to the relevant colleaguesManage room bookings and trouble shoot any issuesDealing with clinician’s lettersTaking payment for treatmentFollowing up on unpaid accounts by calling clients and taking paymentsEnsure the reception area is kept clean and tidy, liaising with the front of house and purchasing assistant when necessaryLiaising with Client Care Manager regarding any client complaints

North Downs Specialist Referrals is a large, multidisciplinary referral hospital in Surrey. Despite our size, we are a cohesive team. There are other specialist interns in surgery and rotating interns, as well as residents in oncology, anaesthesia and imaging.

We have over 35 Recognised Specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, orthopaedics, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, dermatology, and anaesthesia. The centre is a purpose-built state-of-the-art facility.
