**Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is an Orthopedic, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine specialty practice which focuses on client-centered veterinary care. We are currently seeking an outgoing, high-detail individual for our Client Services team!** **Schedule:** Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 7:45am-5:45pm. Possibility for Wednesday shift as well. No nights, weekends or holidays. **Pay:** $19.83 - $27.14 / hour **Our Veterinary Client Service Representatives are imperative to the success of our hospital. In this position, you are the first in-person interaction our clients receive** **. You will ensure that each client receives the care and attention that they need without having to wait or ask. You will need to be able to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be very emotional and difficult for our clients.** **As a Veterinary Receptionist:** + You will greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer the individual warm and professional acknowledgement. You have knowledge of the day's schedule and are able to greet pets and clients by name. + You are always offering a friendly smile, strong eye contact and an approachable demeanor. + You are a compassionate listener. + You speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand. + You will assess immediately upon arrival each client’s rare need, as well as the pet’s general condition. + You will determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus “standard” emergency. + You will respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member. + You are responsible for confirming all appointments in advance ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment. + You will offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner. + You serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains by ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process. **Why BluePearl?** + Our passion is pets. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours.
