Job Title: Practice Administrator

Reporting to: Finance Manager
Hours of work: Covering 25 hours over a 5-day week
Location: Frome
Oversee all aspects of maintaining a working rota for the veterinary surgeons employed by Garston Vets. Undertake duties within the finance department, including charity accounts and insurance claims. Participate in other duties related to the role of Practice Administrator.
Organise the weekday and weekend rota for veterinary surgeons as per their conditions of employment and requirements of the business.Authorise and collate requests for ‘annual leave’ and ‘continuing professional development’ days as part of organising the vet’s rota.Circulate the contents of the vet’s rota through the practice management system’s ‘Diary’ and Microsoft Teams ‘Shifts’ and update these as required.Monitor that the daily requirements of the business are met in terms of veterinary surgeon numbers present at the five sites of Garston VetsWork closely with members of the Senior Management Team to achieve the most efficient use of veterinary staff.Process Cats Protection vouchers and request payments.Assist in the processing of pet insurance claims when required.Benefits
