DESCRIPTION OF WORK This role entails providing specialized veterinary knowledge in the realm of regulatory medicine for thoroughbred and/or standardbred racetracks, with a focus on overseeing the Bleeder Medication Program and managing activities within the test barn. Additionally, the position is responsible for implementing programs from the Bureau of Animal Health and Diagnostic Services, as well as enforcing laws and regulations mandated by legislation within the designated region of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA).
