Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our collaborative, multi-specialty team in Houston, Texas.
GCVS is a large, well-established referral hospital that values innovation, individuality, and the collective strength of specialty collaboration. We are deeply committed to advancing veterinary medicine while fostering an environment where specialists can practice at the highest level with strong peer support.
Our 60,000 sq. ft. hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including 1.5T MRI, 64-slice CT, a Varian Halcyon radiation therapy system, and a dedicated Interventional Radiology suite. Our specialty services include Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology & Allergy, Cardiology, Avian & Exotics, Behavior, and Anesthesiology. We also support a 24/7/365 Emergency and Critical Care service with experienced ER doctors and Criticalists.
Education and mentorship are core to our culture. GCVS supports a robust internship, specialty internship, and residency program, along with strong outreach and educational partnerships with the regional veterinary community.
