Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis Position Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills to kindly and effectively interface with our team and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate. Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, estimates, and other position-related calculations. Ability to safely medicate, restrain, and handle patients of all sizes and personalities. Confident in ability to place IV catheters, blood draws, recover patients from surgery.
