This Veterinary Assistant role is focused on supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians while delivering high-quality patient care, client education, and hospital efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and workflow.Prepare for and perform tasks that do not require direct veterinarian or technician involvement.Monitor hospitalized and surgical patients as permitted by state regulations.Educate clients on preventive care, wellness plans, hospital services, and pet health.Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records.Ensure a clean, safe, organized, and compliant hospital environment.Assist with surgeries when applicable.Utilize veterinary assistant skills in accordance with NAVTA guidelines and state practice acts.Mentor other paraprofessional team members.Core Competencies

The pay range for this role is

$15.19 - $19.41 Hourly
