The Veterinary Assistant ("VA") is a key role in the hospital supporting the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets. This role is an advocate for the pets we serve, educates our clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensures a safe and effective hospital and team environment.

· Putting to use your technical skills, within state practice acts and as outlined in the NAVTA guidelines for veterinary assistant skills and duties.

· Following established protocols for client interaction and ensuring the safety of pets, clients and associates in all ways and at all times.
