VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

About Us:
We are a busy, fast-paced 5 doctor practice that prides itself on excellent patient care and outstanding client service. Our team works together to create a supportive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures

Animal handling and restraint

Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam/procedure areas

Feeding, walking, and caring for hospitalized patients

Requirements:

At least 2 years experience in animal care preferred.

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Available to work some Saturdays

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compassion for animals and their owners

Schedule: Full-time 4-10s, including some weekends.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 DOE
