VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals, is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Schedule: Full time opportunity. 3 x 12s, night shift (6:00pm-6:00am), rotating weekends and holidays required

Compensation: $ 18 - $ 24 / hr

Shift differential available. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.

o   Patient triage and physical examinations

o   Safe patient handling and restraint

o   Venipuncture and blood draws

o   Surgical preparation, assistance, and recovery

o   Laboratory and pharmacy work

o   Radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures

o   Maintaining accurate, detailed patient records

o   Professional communication with clients
