VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital is looking to expand its team with one FT and one PT Veterinary Assistant!  

Location:  1025 Country Club Dr, Moraga, CA

VCA Contra Costa Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor practice proudly serving the Moraga area! We’re team dedicated to exceptional patient care, client education, and a collaborative, service-driven environment. We’re seeking a like-minded individual who values teamwork, communication, and the well-being of our patients.

Compensation: $ 22 - $ 30 / hr based on experience and skill sets.

Schedule: One FT and One PT position available at

PT : Monday, Thursday, and Friday

FT : Tuesday - Saturday

THE POSITION:

We want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to: 

Duties include, but not limited to:

Provide quality patient care while maintaining a Fear Free © approachPatient restraint during examinations, injections, treatments, induction etc.Maintain hospital cleanliness and building upkeepPrioritize tasks and change when neededSurgical instrument cleaning/packing and surgical suite prep and cleanStocking exam rooms, treatment areas, and ORsProcess laboratory samplesRun in hospital blood work panelsAssist Veterinarians and Technicians with tasks
