We’re currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us deliver outstanding veterinary care every day. **Job Summary:** As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital. You’ll assist with patient care, handle administrative and cleaning duties, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for pets and their owners. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures + Safely restrain animals for exams and treatments + Perform basic patient care including feeding, walking, and monitoring recovery + Clean and sterilize exam rooms, equipment, and kennels + Maintain accurate medical records and assist with data entry + Support front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and scheduling + Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients + Maintain inventory and restock supplies **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent required + Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred + Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment + A passion for animals and a commitment to their care **Benefits:** + Competitive pay - $16.50 - $22 + Health insurance, 401(k), PTO + Opportunities for growth and development + A supportive and inclusive team environment **How to Apply:** If you’re enthusiastic about animal care and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you! **If you are a current associate, you will need to apply through our internal career site.
