Veterinary Anaesthetist - Post-Residency Clinician

Job Title: Veterinary Anaesthetist

Location: Northwest Veterinary Specialists, Runcorn

Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 36 hours per week with one night per week on call and a share of the weekend on call rota

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency-trained anaesthetist to join our amazing team on a 1-year fixed term contract with a likely possibility to extend to a permanent contract.

We are a friendly, collaborative and experienced anaesthesia team consisting of 3 anaesthetists (2 ECVAA diplomates and 1 residency trained board eligible anaesthetists) and one VTS anaesthesia nurse.

Inpatients are supported 24/7 by dedicated RVNs and veterinary interns.Work closely with other referral centres in our group to facilitate clinical research and access to shared expertise.Accessible location – An easy commute from Chester, Liverpool, North Wales and Manchester, with excellent transport links, airports, and access to beautiful national parks, forests, and mountains.

Eligible to work in the UK and MRCVSIdeally ECVAA or ACVAA Diplomate or board eligible candidateExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
