The Digital Factory team designs, develops and deploys digital services and capabilities required to succeed in the digital transformation to better serve the pet professionals, the pet owners and ultimately the pets.

Based in Aimargues this job is part of our Digital Factory team which has as a mission to:

Design, develop, scale and maintain a seamless, trusted and optimized digital ecosystem

Design, Develop, and Deploy our Service-driven digital platforms

Build key capabilities around Design Thinking, UX, Agile Management, Mobile/Web development, Digital Platform deployment and Data-driven transformation

Leverage those capabilities to design and build our future Business Models

Push from global to deploy @scale and pull from local to achieve global synergy

The Digital factory, as part of the Pet owner and brand pillar department, works in strong partnership with all marketing and sales pillars (Pet owners, SPT, Vet and Pet professionals), with MARS Architecture & Solution team, with regions and markets and with the innovation team.

What profile are we looking for?

Engineer's degree of Information Technology or eBusiness and Management, equivalent

3 to 5 years experience in Digital Product owner role or similar role.

Project Management in agile mode

Management of complex technical projects on an international level

Good understanding of digital environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Good Autonomy

Lead of cross-functional teams with external and internal actors

Influencing and negotiations skills

Fast learner, and comfortable coping with change

Fluent English & French

What would be your key responsibilities?

The product owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the product and ensuring that a pragmatic user centric approach is adopted to deliver and deploy the product successfully.

In partnership with multiple business owners, the Product Owner is responsible for the growth of its product in terms of business revenue as well as user base increase. To reach his objective he/she translates the desired business and user value into an enabling product backlog and iteration plan by which the design and develop team will deliver the final product to their users.

The product owner has the following responsibilities:

Define user centric & agile roadmap

Gather and consolidate needs, pain points and opportunities from various sources and stakeholders such as end-users,  other product owner(s), data, markets, business owner(s), digital factory, consumer care … 

Collaborating with the B2B Services Product Owners to ensure the convergence of services for our B2B Professionals (Royal Start, Vet Services...)

Collaborating with the D2C team to ensure the consistency between B2B, B2D2C and D2C models

From feedbacks consolidated, define solution hypothesis statements and identify epics

Link identified epics to targeted user pain points and business values as prioritized with the Business Owner.

Feed and review regularly priorities agreed with business owner in a validated and shared roadmap of product/platform development

Define backlog items which reflect the roadmap, incl. user and business value defined by the Business Owner.

Alignment between backlog, envisioned user journeys and technical foundation

Ensure KPIs and objectives are well measured to track new features delivered and build the roadmaps in an agile way

Deliver effective and qualitative product

Ensuring the delivery of the roadmap in close collaboration with MGS DT, external partners and Digital Factory

In partnership with delivery teams, bring and animate all resources involved to build and deliver a maximised roadmap

Connect regularly with other product roadmap to leverage the full value of the ecosystem to the end users

Deliver clear and well documented backlogs that drive to qualitative development

Clarify upcoming questions from delivery team

Approve the execution of backlog quality based on the agreed definition-of-ready and definition-of-done

Define testing strategy in collaboration with delivery team

Ensure technical and business performances are well measured and actions are taken

Ensure security and scalability is achieved

Ensuring digital robustness of the B2B Platform to serve client satisfaction and service level agreements with business units (global / regional / local)

Ensure that deploy and support team are well equipped to scale Deploy Digital services @scale :

Define and follow up deployment KPIs.

Work with deployment and business care team to organize the technical and business deployment (integration) of the digital product in markets

Supports Deployment Coordinator in clarifying and meeting operational readiness criteria.

Feed the business care team to define the right model required to support the digital product developed (hypercare, …)

Supports Business Care Manager in analyzing market feedback to identify and prioritize performance improvement measures.
