You will influence how the business operates at every level by leading high impact Kaizens, elevating VES Capability, and engaging directly at Gemba to identify opportunities and accelerate meaningful measurable change. This role will champion continuous improvement through all layers of the organisation and ensure the business achieves its Policy Deployment and KPI priorities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in strategic, high influence, high impact cultures where they can leave a lasting legacy on performance and culture. This position will be located at our Linx House Global Headquarters, in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Partner with the President and L1 leaders to review strategic priorities, Policy Deployment progress, KPI performance, and identify where VES can unlock breakthroughs. + Go to Gemba (point of impact) to observe processes firsthand, identify gaps/root causes, and coach leaders on applying VES tools and countermeasures. + Lead or facilitate improvement activities including Policy Deployment workshops, kaizen prework reviews, daily management discussions, or problem-solving sessions (PSP). + Develop capability across the organization by coaching VESLs, running training sessions, and reviewing progress on talent development funnels. + Drive alignment and accountability through operational reviews, evaluating action plans, sustainment bowler charts, and performance metrics with leadership teams. + Share insights and elevate best practices, collaborating across Linx and Veralto to refine approaches, remove roadblocks, and guide cross-functional improvement momentum. + Be a true L1 leader who wears a Linx and Veralto hat at all times and is comfortable constructively challenging and improving areas outside of their direct control. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Proven senior leadership experience of owning functional outcomes through deploying Lean/continuous improvement tools and culture in a sustainable way throughout a global organisation. + Demonstrable expertise and hands-on experience in Lean/CI tools, problem-solving (PSP), kaizen, daily management, standard work, statistical analysis, and root-cause methodologies. + Strategic leadership capability to design, lead, and scale the VES roadmap, Policy Deployment processes, certification pathways, and business-wide improvement systems. + Strong executive communication and influencing skills, able to eliminate complexity, coach senior leaders, and drive alignment without direct authority. + Demonstrated ability to build capability, including developing and coaching high-performing teams both in direct control and outside. + High adaptability, inclusive leadership, and values-driven behaviour, showing integrity, psychological safety, collaboration, and resilience in fast-paced environments. + Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with fluency in using metrics, statistical tools, and visual systems to diagnose issues and guide decision-making. + Willingness to travel globally as needed (expect ~25%), supporting engagement at Gemba (point of impact), working with customers and distributors, building capability, and ensuring consistent deployment across Linx globally.
