Position Overview

Your mission as a senior Vertical Sales Professional is to increase sales and achieve defined commercial targets for assigned products, solutions, services, or projects in specified industries. Your customers will use Siemens portfolio directly in the course of their own investments.

Your Challenge

Manage specific focus accounts within the Industry Domains of Oil & Gas, Chemical as well as EnergyDevelop the respective markets and enhance the presence of Siemens, positioning its own industrial portfolio of solutions and products in the right wayMeet specific annual sales targets, analyzing the needs of existing and potential customersIntroduce dynamic market approach building ecosystems which leverage the collaboration with system integrators, distributors, EPCs and rest partners.Prepare customer contacts, build and maintain a customer-focused network to systematically develop both customer and industry (vertical) market expertiseInvestigate and evaluate specific business opportunities for products and solutions by analyzing the mid-term investments of customers in this industry (vertical) market Exploit Siemens’ global expertise and transfer vertical know-how from HQs to local marketConsult the customers by offering a comprehensive range of solutions including process automation, control systems, drive systems, communication, instrumentation, and more from low voltage to medium voltage portfolio.Support the customers in their digital transformation journey with offerings based on AI combined with deep industry process know-how to streamline their operationsAnticipate the needs of the customers in the demanding and volatile markets and utilize Siemens’ diversified portfolio of industrial solutions to optimize their processes and strengthen their competitiveness.

What you need to bring with you

5-10 years of proven sales experience as an account manager within industrial markets understanding complex operating modelsDemonstrate knowledge of Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy Industries having a deep understanding of their operational processesMaster’s degree in electrical, automation, mechanical or chemical engineeringAbility to evaluate markets and plan sales volumes analyzing the growth potential of each customer and evaluating business opportunities with a strong orientation to reach sales targetsAvailability to travel throughout Greek Territory visiting factories and project sites together good organizational skills combined with agility to be able to perform multitaskingFlexibility in addressing customer challenges and needs, understanding trends, and navigating the customer journey. This includes identifying value and adopting a go-to-market approach that aligns with customer expectations  Proficiency in building and maintaining a customer-focused approach within a collaborative ecosystem of partnersUnderstanding complex contracts and know-how in preparing them systematically and efficiently. This includes managing contracts, negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring compliance, and handling contract clauses and amendments to reduce risk and improve marginsMastering the digital transformation of sales, which involves understanding new business models, digitalization impacts, and leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance sales processes to drive growth and customer loyalty Growth Mindset: Desire to continuous learning, comfortable with ambiguity, willingness to unlearn and relearnFluency in both English & Greek language, written and spoken, and excellent presentation skills
