Vacancy: Vertical Market Lead – Data Centres GB&I

Location: This is a location independent role.  You will be required to travel to customer sites at least x2 days per week in UK and occasionally Ireland.

The Vertical Market Lead for Data Centres is responsible for the development, exploitation and maximization of GB&I regional data center accounts and profitable growth of the assigned account(s) for the represented Siemens organizations (Divisions, BUs).

Reporting into the Head of Vertical Markets GB&I the role holder will act as a strategic and trusted advisor to Sales Leaders in the GB&I region and liaise with Data Centre key partners in Siemens, identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives that improve sales performance and customer satisfaction withing the data centre sector.

You’ll make a difference by:

Defines to the go-to-market strategy for the vertical and sets targets regarding new customers Defines and ensures the implementation of Vertical related strategies, policies and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy Drives customer focus within the organisation and initiates / contributes to planning of customer related product development measures or the setup of customer related projects Develops, proposes and is responsible for Vertical sales budgets and growth forecasts aligned with the sales strategy Manages completion of budgets and regular sales reporting Collaborates with key Siemens partners including within region. Data Centre of Competence, regional Businesses and Vertical organizations Drives productivity of the Vertical (customer development plan, opportunity pipeline, growth...) Resolves customer potential and ensures sufficient market transparency Supports strategic key customers' business development Ensures sufficient industry and portfolio specific know-how of the sales organization, as well as vital sales skills Cooperates with Marketing and regional businesses in matters of strategic and tactical product and service positioning Orchestrates building and strengthening of relationship with Regional TOP Accounts (ERP Program) Provides solutions via partners or own value chain (if applicable) Defines and allocates resources and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff Manages assigned organizational unit(s) and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

Showcase the ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization, creating a collaborative and growing environment. Some years’ experience in B2B sales, Business Development, Sales Perfection and/or Account Management within industry and/or management consultancies Ability to think strategically and creatively whilst also executing operationally with high attention to detail and operational perfection Demonstrated ability to analyze and tackle ambiguous and highly sophisticated problems and thrive in fast-paced matrix environments while managing multiple work streams with matrixed resources and goals while balancing business needs Demonstrate exceptional communication skills including significant international collaboration and leadership proficiencies to connect and work across organizational boundaries, including engaging with stakeholders up to a senior management level Passionate about making a positive customer impact while balancing business needs. Ability to travel to collaborate with Key Customer Accounts, Regions and Thought Leaders.
