Reporting to the Verification/Validation Team Leader, the Verification & Validation Specialist is responsible for supporting the verification and validation of our water and wastewater treatment equipment. You will work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the quality of new products and the sustainment improvements of our existing market-leading products.  

 

This position is part of the Verification/Validation team located in London, ON and will be onsite.  

 

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

Carry out assignments of substantial variety and/or complexity requiring a sound understanding of related engineering principles and practices. 

Assist in the development of new test protocols. 

Design, adapt, or direct the building of test setups and equipment for new situations, based on analysis of test specifications and engineering department requests and instructions. 

Participate in root cause analysis and investigations of material failures and testing issues. 

Conduct verification and validation activities to ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards. 

Act as a technical resource in a cross-functional product development environment. 

As a member of a collaborative team, create and deliver on project plans. 

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the product lifecycle. 

Participate in testing and field verification. 

Note: Up to 10% local or international travel may be required. 

 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering 

5 years of experience in an industrial setting 

Proficient in using CAD software such as Solidworks 3D or Inventor. 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

Experience in designing and developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. 

Proficiency in using verification and validation tools (e.g., CAD software, simulation tools, automated testing frameworks). 

Hands-on experience with verification methodologies and testing tools.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.   

The compensation range for this role is $90.000- $110.000 CAD. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
