Role Overview As a Finance Associate, you’ll play a key role in fund operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to emerging technologies while working closely with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Fund Reporting + Review quarterly reports from fund administrators for both open- and closed-ended funds + Reconcile digital asset transactions with blockchain records + Distribute capital statements and manage fund administrator relationships Annual Audit + Review annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors + Manage audit documentation, including confirmations, valuation memos, and transaction support Fund Operations + Support capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investment funding + Track fund finances and valuations using proprietary systems + Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities + Respond to investor inquiries and assist with SPV finance processes + Support fund tax compliance, including K-1 and tax return reviews + Contribute to ad hoc analysis and strategic projects Excited about this opportunity? Requirements What You Bring + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field + 3–5+ years of experience in asset management auditing or accounting, with at least 2 years in venture capital or private equity + CPA preferred; candidates must have passed FAR and REG sections + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments + Genuine interest in crypto, emerging technologies, or AI is a strong plus + Based in San Francisco or New York, with in-office presence required 2 days per week Excited about this opportunity?
