Role Overview As a Finance Associate, you’ll play a key role in fund operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to emerging technologies while working closely with senior leadership. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and passionate about the future of finance, crypto, and AI. Key Responsibilities Fund Reporting + Review quarterly reports from fund administrators for both open- and closed-ended funds + Reconcile digital asset transactions with blockchain records + Distribute capital statements and manage fund administrator relationships Annual Audit + Review annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors + Manage audit documentation, including confirmations, valuation memos, and transaction support Fund Operations + Support capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investment funding + Track fund finances and valuations using proprietary systems + Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities + Respond to investor inquiries and assist with SPV finance processes + Support fund tax compliance, including K-1 and tax return reviews + Contribute to ad hoc analysis and strategic projects Excited about this opportunity? Requirements What You Bring + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field + 3–5+ years of experience in asset management auditing or accounting, with at least 2 years in venture capital or private equity + CPA preferred; candidates must have passed FAR and REG sections + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments + Genuine interest in crypto, emerging technologies, or AI is a strong plus + Based in San Francisco or New York, with in-office presence required 2 days per week Excited about this opportunity?
