SUMMARY:
The Vendor Risk Analyst is responsible for monitoring the relationship between the Company and its vendors. This position will primarily be involved in implementing the on-boarding and initial due diligence, and risk assessments used to monitor the vendor’s performance and activities.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review new vendor requests and complete the onboarding process for new vendor relationships
• Conduct the off-boarding process for vendors profiles.
• Analyze and evaluate responses submitted for risk reviews and due diligence questionnaires.
• Ensures all required documentation is properly and accurately stored within the vendor risk management tool.
• Ensures vendors are complying with consumer protection laws and regulations.
• Track and monitor expiration of documents.
• Performs research on vendors via the internet.
• Performs on-site quality assurance reviews.
• Track and monitor the Delegation of Authority (DOA) requests and workflow process.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.
• Enter and maintain status for users and vendors within the vendor risk management tools.
• Perform weekly and monthly back-ups for all vendor files.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
•One – two years financial industry (consumer finance, preferably) experience.
•Effective communication and organization skills.
•Ability to demonstrate an understanding of business processes.
•Ability to work with minimum supervision and strong work ethic.
•Ability to analyze data.
•Ability to communicate issues involved with testing verbally and in writing.
•Accurately input data.
•Working knowledge of:
