Camping World is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Quality Compliance Specialist to assess vendor shipments for adherence to our quality standards. This role involves inspecting incoming loads and supporting the Vendor Quality Compliance Lead in monitoring compliance and managing vendor deductions.
To be successful as a vendor quality compliance specialist, you must have an excellent eye for discrepancies and be able to learn what the vendor violations/infractions are. A good specialist communicates with the Vendor Quality Compliance Lead to evaluate and improve vendor compliance.
Responsibilities:
Attention to detail/AccuracyConducting oneself in a professional manner alwaysMust hold oneself accountablePerform daily quality inspections on product coming inCollect data about compliance issues at time of receiving.Taking notes of vendors that require improvement in specific areasCommunicate with the Vendor Quality Compliance Supervisor to provide feedback on methods to improve.Seek to improve all aspects of the vendor compliance department by conducting the current methodology and processes.Requirements:
Good team & leadership skills to be able to work with othersUnderstand and follow basic verbal and written instructionsReceiving & vendor Compliance experience.Knowledge of how to use an iPad for data entry and picture taking.Skill and Proficiencies:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with Vendor Compliance Lead.Attention to detail: Ability to notice small discrepancies and ensure compliance with quality standards.Knowledge of Quality Standards: Familiarity with Camping Worlds standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to our products being inspected.Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize inspections effectively.Report Writing: Proficiency in documenting inspection results and creating detailed reports.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team environment to achieve common quality goals.Pay Range:
