We are currently searching for a Vendor Performance Coordinator, to work with one of our major international clients in the oil and gas industry.
Role Overview
Coordination of all shop Expediting & Inspection activities in support to the Lead shop coordinator
Manage interfaces with Project as the single point of accountability for relevant Purchase Order
Define expediting and inspection levels based on Criticality Analysis provided by the Project
Prepare and issue assignment requests for Shop Expeditors and Inspectors with Resource Management support
Ensure proper vendor production schedule is issued in a timely manner and covers all necessary activities
Organize and attend Hand Over Meetings with Vendors and lead by Inspector at Workshop
Prepare required reports for the Project
Attend Expediting/Inspection recurrent meetings with Vendors and Project Management Team
Analyze and comment on Supplier's Monthly Progress Reports and Shop Expediting Reports
Identify potential critical paths/events that may impact delivery dates and take necessary actions to mitigate risks
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum 15 years of experience in Inspection, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, and/or Project Management
Experience with Material Management Systems (e.g. Smart Material - Intergraph)
Professional level of spoken and written English
Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently
Ability to reach deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Problem solving skills related to functional area and understanding impact on overall business
Good presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels
