Role & Responsibilities
The PACT Business Operations team provides centralized vendor management support to enable consistent, compliant, and efficient use of third‑party partners across clinical programs. The team oversees vendor sourcing, intake and qualification, contracting coordination, and ongoing vendor governance, partnering closely with delivery, procurement, finance, and legal teams to mitigate risk, improve operational efficiency, and support high‑quality study execution.
In this role, you will be primarily dedicated to the Cronos Rater Services team within PACT, but you will be expected to provide cross-coverage to other PACT teams as needed. Cronos Rater Services is a global team that delivers rater training, qualification, and oversight services to support high‑quality clinical outcome assessment (COA) data in clinical trials. Cronos combines clinical expertise and technology‑enabled analytics to reduce measurement risk, improve endpoint reliability, and support consistent, compliant assessment across global studies.
As a Vendor Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate vendor sourcing, intake, qualification, onboarding, and offboarding in line with IQVIA policies and timelinesPartner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Quality, and Information Security to support contracting and risk reviewSupport the vendor contracting lifecycle, including MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and renewalsCoordinate payment setup, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment remittance, resolving issues and exceptions as neededMaintain accurate vendor records, documentation, and tracking to ensure audit readinessProvide guidance to delivery teams on vendor governance, compliance, and escalation pathsIdentify opportunities to simplify and standardize vendor processes to improve efficiency and reduce riskPerform regular vendor portfolio reviews to support portfolio optimization in the form of cost savings and use of internal products and services when availableProvide cross-coverage for other Vendor Managers across PACTCandidates interested in joining the team should have:
